Mouse Rating & Review: A
As a mouse, this movie was awesome! Ok it was super funny, and had that crazy-random weirdness element that really topped it off. Paul Rudd was there to pull the movie along amidst the laughs I suppose, however he is greatly overshadowed by all the crazy people in the movie (almost everyone except him & his gf). Steve Carrell's character is so annoying, yet completely loveable & crazy. His mouse-terpieces are awesome. Bringing joy & new life to mouse friends who passed on. Zach Galfi-needs a shorter last name haha, was amazing as usually. He brings that watcher in the woods persona from his stand-up comedy to his character... and doesnt stop there adding in capes & mind control techniques you may try at home. Jermaine Clement's character, Keiren is also notable and hilarious (especially if you are part of the art world and you've met one of these self obsessed types that come along from time to time).
Anyways, you should certainly watch this movie, who knows maybe you have been having dinner with an "extraordinarily talented person" already

Cat Rating & Review: A
This is the best comedy movie of all cat time. Not only where the a zillion mouse characters to dream about eating and chasing, it was an original idea and break from the typical modern comedy. Zack Galfi and Steve Carrell played their roles perfectly and probably could not have been pulled off by any other comedian in today's time. The scenes between the two will have you rolling off your cat pillow in stitches of laughter. To compliment and add seasoning to this already funny flick was the dinner scene that added a few more colorful characters to this already amazingly funny story. Grab your popcorn and catnip and get ready to bend over your furry tummy to laugh to this one.

This movie was creepy, sad, & funny. It wasn't a movie id jump onto the housetop to proclaim its greatness. However it is an interesting & awakening disection at the possible dangers & deceptions, the internet is filled with. I WOULD in fact recommend seeing this movie so I dont want to give away too many details. I will state it is entertaining & appropriate for most ages id say anyone over 10 (if you have a kid under 10 & you are letting them use the internet unsuppervised then you should A. stop that, B. see this movie, C. have your head & parenting skills examined). This movie is shot documentary style, and it does suceed at feeling authentic & real (which is the story they are pitching). It certainly makes you think, and also examine yourself and your own life.

Cat Rating & Review: B
Very well thought out. original idea that made you wonder which direction the movies was heading. Lots of great animal cameos from our cat cousins. It never made me take a cat nap so I enjoyed the movie from start to finish. Not super exciting in terms of action and adrenaline but very good idea. A good movie to stay home rent and snack on some cat nip

This movie starts out well, and with the illusion of a full plot & framework for movie. It is definately very creepy, and I do give it high marks in the scary department. However it fails to progress much after the first 45-60min. I wouldnt say it was a terrible movie; but it couldve been much better if it wouldve kept with the same momentum it had in the first half. When looking for the logistics to see who directed it etc, I realize it is a remake movie; so maybe that explains why it didnt develop more. So in one way I give the director credit for not straying from the orignal plot (if that is the case, I dont know the first was made in the 60's) but on the other hand: why would you select a movie with out a full/ decent plot to remake int he first place? A catch 22. Either way, if you like being creeped out & dont have anything important to do I guess go for it!??!

Cat Rating & Review: C+
This movie seemed very interesting from the preview so we thought we take the kittens to see this movie. it started very fast into the plot of mystery about the vanishing of all the people, which is great for us because now we have all the treats for ourselves as cats. This was  maybe a mix of a supernatural / Science mystery , not sure because it was never explained but it did have very creepy shadow people. Good for a creepy scare but the ending was very weak and kept you wondering where did all the stinky people go.

Scott Pilgrim vs The World

Director: Edgar Wright
Writer: Edgar Wright & Michael Bacall
Stars: Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstred, Kieran Culkin

Mouse Rating & Review:A-
This movie is one of the most unique & original movies made in a very long time. You can tell the director/writer was deeply invested in the movie, and has such deep connection to indie/punk rock nostalgia- in a way that seems very firsthand & authentic. I thought the male wardrobe was great, and styled perfectly to go with the characters & plot. The female wardrobe so-so, depending on the character. Some of the outfits were a bit look-at-me, look-at-me... and while that is desperate & annoying, i mean not cute, I suppose that also has some authenticity to that particular scene. (Someone please make fingerless gloves & arm warmers illegal already) Do love though that they have them doing thrift store shopping. Also must be said on the styling note: the reason for the (-)minus in the A- rating I gave this film was solely based on the absolutely atrocious hair of the female lead. Colored hair? (I use the term 'hair' loosely, a rats nest really) And those long hangy things in front were crying out for me to take scissors to her unsightly hair. As far as cast, it was done very well for the most part. Michael Cera is great, Knives the Asian girl is very cute & likeable, Kiren Culkin (Home Alone boys little bro) was really funny & a good add. The female lead, like her hair was not great. She just didn't have what it takes to really steal a boyfriend from anyone let alone Knives. The special effects of the movie were awesome, and justly used in this film. Now if people start copying it in future films I'm sure it will be annoying but for this particular one it was cool & different. The music was pretty good. Fighting choreography was clearly done by an expert and they didn't half ass it, so there will be no snoozing through this action packed, imaginative indie love story.

Cat Rating & Review: A
Great Movie !! It was very original and unique not like your typical Hollywood cat flicks. Although the plot was a simple teenage love story the style of the way the movie was filmed created a whole new twist on yet another teenage coming of age love story. The fight choreography was excellent and made the action scenes very enjoyable and fast paced. I am a cat gamer and enjoyed all the references to some of the classic video games with a twist of the new ones and enjoyed the special effects. A must see with the Wife and kittens , it's about time someone came up with something original !!!

Zero tee, awesome vintage. Blue hair-just no.

Aw Knives, its Sex Bob Omb for some- The Bravery Collective for others
We all know this girl.... character perfect by: comedian/actress Aubrey Plaza

This movie stunk worse than the Cat's liter box. It seemed like it was not going to be that bad, the Cat always makes me watch these action packed Sci-fi movies. But it stopped being ok/decent about 15-30minutes in. They basically have only one CGI heavy scene they do and then just drag it out for an hour & a half you will never get back. The the ending is the cherry on the top of this poop sundae- it literally looks as though they just ran out of film to use- so they cut an actual real ending and then added some stupid/crazy nonsense scene that doesn't solve any of the problems this weak plot had. And the only 2 real actors in the movie (in my mouse opinion) were the guy from Dexter & the guy from scrubs and they are both killed off and not leads. I wouldn't normally reveal this, however this is a definitely a movie to skip.
Oh & PS im pretty sure the blond "lady"(Faison, from Scurb's wife)  in the movie is really a dude

When my whiskers first caught wind of the preview I was excited to see this movie since I am an advid sci fi adventure cat. The effects looked great and I thought it would be a decent movie. Unfortunately this movie will have cats all over the world disappointed because of its failure to bring home a good movie from a good idea. The idea was great effects were great but the movie fell far short of being on a cats top movie list. They basically rehashed one Independence day action scene and made it an entire movie called Skyline. Good idea but failed execution. The ending left you wondering what happened to all the cat nip !!!
